Home.
Do you ever think about how much this line means to her character? Not only the line, but the way it is delivered, with that smile at the end.
This is the girl that believed, for all of her life, that she didn’t belong anywhere, with anyone. A girl that grew up going from house to house, but never being able to find her real home. A girl that barely knew where she was from, let alone where she was going. A girl that had no one but herself.
Yet she didn’t lose hope. After everything she went through and every place she’s been, she kept looking.
Not even after letting herself believe that for once she could finally have what she always wanted, but ending up having her heart broken and getting her emotional walls up. She still didn’t give up.
emma grew up alone and let down her entire life as far as she knows her parents abandoned herthe one person she’s ever had a history with left her and she has this amazing strength and capacity for hope and love she has all the best parts of everyone she was never allowed to have ugh she’s an amazing character and she’s my favorite and i jUST WANT HER HAPPINESS
